Our Team

Maysoun Odeh

Maysoun is the Station Manager of NISAA FM. She studied at the American University in Washington D.C. at the University of Grenoble – France.

Previously Maysoun worked as the Station Manager of the first English language station in the region RAM FM. Also she served as the Trade & Information Officer at the South African Representative Office in Ramallah.


Fida Ouri

Fida is the Web designer and Admin Assistant at NISAA FM. She studied at Manatee Technical Institute in Florida, USA.

Previously she worked as a Web Designer at Al Nasher Advertising in Ramallah.



Nisreen Awwad

Nisreen is currently the Morning show presenter (Qahwa Mazboot) )at Radio NISAA FM. She holds MA Degree in International Studies from Birzeit University.

Previously she worked as an Educational Researcher and Developer at Qattan Foundation. Nisreen also produces and presents a one hour show on Palestinian youth on one of Ramallah local radio stations.


Miral Alazzeh

As of July 2011, Miral started presenting the Afternoon Show (Asriyet NISAA). Miral holds a BA degree in Majoring media Radio broadcasting from Birzeit University.

Miral has many experience in editing and directing documentary films, Advertising and media Services, also she participated in radio news courses "public news".



Mohammad Al-Hajj

Mohammad is currently the Technical Supervisor at Radio NISAA FM. He graduated from Community College in Amman-Jordan.

He worked at RAM FM for 3 years as an Office Manager and Technical Supervisor




Yazan Samara

Yazan is currently the Music & Production Supervisor at Radio NISAA FM. He holds a B.S Degree in Computer Science IT from Belford Univeristy,USA.

He worked at various places, Coordinator and Producer at Palmedia, IT consultant for the GTZ, News director,translator, & video editor Palestinian Broadcasting Corporation TV.



Ashraf Ammar

Ashraf is Radio NISAA's Messenger.

Previously he worked at Radio RAM FM,Sama Radio, and Sky Advertising.


Support Team Staff

Raf Gangat

Rafique is a former South African Ambassador with many years of international experience, as well as a seasoned radio professional who consults today on communication & media.

His role in NISAA FM is related to training of talent and program development in coordination with the Station Manager.



Ashraf Nasr

Ashraf is Radio NISAA's Accountant. He holds a BA in Accounting from Birzeit University.

He worked with many different NGO's, Talal Abu Ghazal International Auditing Firm,and Association of Women Committees for Social Work.



Advocate Rateb Muhaissen

Rateb is the Legal Consultant for Radio NISAA FM.

He is the Chairman of "Dar Al-Kanon” Law Firm in Ramallah, and is the Legal Consultant to various public and private firms in Palestine. He holds a Masters Degree in Law from Texas University, USA.

Maysa holds a Bachelor Degree in Journalism and Media from Al-Najah National University - Nablus. Previously she worked as a reporter with Al Quds news paper, Palestine News network, (Al Ghad) Magazine and the Journal of Free Education.

*Ohood Mraqtan
Community News reporter – Hebron Governorate


Ohood holds a Degree in Media and T.V from Al-Quds University – Abu Dis. Ohood is currently a reporter with Al Quds Educational TV. Previously she worked as a Presenter with Al Quds University Radio, and as a volunteer with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.

*Sahar Hanani
Community News Reporter – Nablus Governorate


Sahar holds a Bachelor Degree in Journalism from Al-Najah National University. Previously she worked within the editorial board voted Group of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Palestine, and prepared reports for Radio Tariq Al Mahabe.

*Hiba Lama
Community News Reporter – Bethlehem Governorate


Hiba holds a BA Degree in Media & Journalism from Al Najah University and a Masters Degree in International Relations from Birzeit University. Previously Hiba worked as a website editor and a radio reporter with the Palestine News Network, and as a Reporter with “Falasteen” magazine, and as a part time piano teacher at the Edward Said National Conservatory for Music.

*Roula Esaam
Community News Reporter – Gaza Strip


Roula holds a Bachelor in English Education from Al Islamic University. Roula works at the Ministry of Youth and Sports – Women’s Department, she is in charge of the media and public relations in the board of directors of the Palestinian Federation. Her experience, documentary movies making course, preparing anchors and news readers, preparing television reports, and preparing documentary films at Women’s Affairs Centre.
